Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Do you need a deposit?
A. Yes. We require 50% deposit at the time the reservation is made.
The balance is due the week before the event. This is to ensure that
you – and only you – get the vehicle for the time frame you have
reserved. Deposits are non-refundable.
Q. Will I get a written contract?
A. Yes, once you have made your deposit you will receive a written
contract with all details spelled out, including which vehicle you have
reserved, pickup and drop-off times, locations of destinations, and any
other pertinent information.
Q. Should I hire the cheapest limo company?
A. Not necessarily. More importantly, find out if the vehicles have
the right insurance, are regularly inspected, in good repair and
available for viewing before you make a reservation. Are the drivers
insured, background-checked and properly licensed? Is the company
licensed by the state Public Service Commission? The answer to all
these should be YES. Our prices are carefully researched to be
competitive. Our service and quality guarantee that your money is well
spent.
Q. Will I be able to reach someone if I have a change in plans?
A. Absolutely. When the office is closed, our phone lines are
forwarded to a mobile phone that one of our staff members carries with
them. You will ALWAYS be able to reach someone in case your plans have
changed at the last minute. In cases of airport drop-offs or pickups,
we check the flight status ahead of time to make sure our driver is
there on time.
Q. Do you include a gratuity?
A. Many of our packages include the gratuity, since most of our
clients prefer to take care of the entire amount ahead of time. Also,
it’s one less thing to remember during a wedding or special day. If you
prefer to give your driver the gratuity in person, please let us know
and we will happily adjust the total to reflect this. (Hint: the
average gratuity is approximately 20% of the total).
Q. Can I smoke in the vehicles?
A. Our entire fleet is strictly non-smoking. If during the charter the
client wishes to smoke, our chauffeurs are instructed to find a safe
area to stop where the client can exit the vehicle and smoke outside.
Q. Do you provide booster/car seats for children?
A. If you wish your child to ride in a booster seat or carrier, you
will need to provide your own in the appropriate size to their age,
height and weight. We can store it for you if, for example, you are
traveling to the airport and will not need to take it with you. Please
note that by law, children are not required to ride in booster or car
seats in larger multi-passenger vehicles, such as schoolbuses. Our
vehicles fall into this same general category.
